14 DAY TRIAL // US President Barack Obama is sick and tired of all the rumors surrounding Jay-Z and Beyonce’s recent trip to Cuba, particularly of all that talk that he somehow gave them clearance for it.
So, he’s squashing those reports in his brand new interview with The Today Show’s Savannah Guthrie.

“I wasn’t familiar that they were taking the trip. My understanding is I think they went through a group that organizes these educational trips down to Cuba,” Obama says.
“This is not something the White House was involved in. We’ve got better things to do,” he adds.
No word yet on how Jay-Z, who bragged in the song “Open Letter” about getting White House clearance for the trip, is taking the news.
