Banshee, an open source multimedia solution to play music, videos, podcasts and Internet radio, is now at version 2.6.0.

Banshee 2.6.0 is the result of six months' work by 15 developers, 30 translators, and dozens of bug reporters and testers.

Highlights of Banshee 2.6.0

· Device scrobbling support for LastFM has been added; · File management options are now specific to each source; · Display track rating is now done in "Now Playing" view; · Support the Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android phone has been added; · The AAC audio profile has been re-enabled; · Reading playlists from multiple folders is now supported; · Invalid tracks are removed from the queue after a scrobbling error; · CanSetFullscreen and Fullscreen properties have been added; · Threading in some areas around GUI manipulation has been improved.
