Two Snow White movies are currently being made, a more traditional take on the story and a darker, feistier version. We're here to talk about the latter, Rupert Sanders' “Snow White and the Huntsman.”

Starring Kristen Stewart as Snow White, Chris Hemsworth as Huntsman and Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen, the film has been described before as similar to “Lord of the Rings” in atmosphere and cinematography.

The banner just released seems to confirm that.

Not only does it have the three protagonists front and center, but it also offers a clear idea of the environment they're coming from.

Thus, Huntsman is surrounded by what looks like a fairytale evil forest, while the Evil Queen has crows and dead bodies in the background.

Snow White is shown in a forest clearance, filled with giant mushrooms and odd-looking plants and flowers. And, yes, there seems to be something strange going on with her head, but we could probably blame that on bad Photoshop.

“Snow White and the Huntsman” will be out in theaters on June 1, 2012.
