Banner Saga Video Offers Information on Combat and Beta

A new panel with the development team at Stoic Games offers new information about their upcoming The Banner Saga, including more details on the beta stage of the game, which is only available to those who have supported the game via the Kickstarter crowdfunding service.

The panel also talks about the combat mechanics that will power the game and there are also some details about the game soundtrack, which is being created by Austin Wintory.

The Banner Saga will initially get a PC and Mac release called Factions during November of this year, which is designed to be free and will showcase the combat mechanics.

The team of developers, who have previously worked at BioWare and were involved with the Dragon Age series, says that the full game will be offered in 2013.

It will allow players to build their own party of characters with various skills and then use them to get through a number of tactical engagements.
