Trojan Infestation!

Important things first: whatever you do, do NOT visit the Bank Of India official website! Or at least not until further notice. It has been trojan infested and it is dangerous. So stay away from it, if you don't want to get your PC infected.

There is not just one threat on the site, two or three, but 25. Yep, this is no type-o, SunBelt (a security company) has disclosed that the code on the site attempts to load 22 instances of spam related malware and three information stealing trojans, as ZDNet reports. This is pretty severe if you ask me, so please stay clear of it, until this problem is solved.

The three trojan viruses are: The Pinch Trojam, TSPY AGENT.AAVG and Trojan.Netview. The first one will take data from your PC like candy from a baby. It will give the hackers info about your Windows version, its serial number and if that isn't enough it also steals passwords that are stored by browsers. The second trojan I mentioned steals even more info: keylogged data, network configuration, info from active windows, active system connections, user names and passwords from POP3 and SMTP protocols as well as user names and passwords of profiles. The last of the trojans has the capability of uploading files from a computer to the hackers' server.

So basically if you get infected, not only the hacker will have all of your info, but he could also copy all your files, that's why this is considered such a severe infestation. Of course, there are lots of anti-viruses that will protect your PC against threats that will arrive trough browsers, so that's why you need to always have security measures deployed on your machine. In any case, if you want to avoid being hacked please do not access this site until further notice.
