Paul Gascoigne, also known as Gazza, the former England international football player, says that hackers have made 23 unauthorized withdrawals from his bank account.

He told the Sun that the crooks stole between £9,000 ($14,000 / €10,700) and £50,000 ($80,000 / €60,000).

Gascoigne, who is currently recovering from alcohol addiction, made the following statement regarding the incident: “I know who did it. I know how it [expletive] happened, there were 23 hits in [expletive] two days. It was quite a lot of money.”

Then he added, "It wasn't that much. [Expletive] knows. I don't know. Website, internet, I've not got a clue."

This incident once again demonstrates that Internet safety should never be neglected. All those who use the Web should learn at least the basics to make sure they don’t fall victim to hackers.
