More vehicles, bigger challenges

Rare and Microsoft are announcing that they will be offering a downloadable content pack for Banjoo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, called Lord of Games’ Lost Challenges Game Add-On pack (quite a mouth full).

The pack is set to be available on the Xbox Live Markeplace on April 7 and it will be retailing for 400 Microsoft Points. It's not a big price to pay for quite a bit of new content.

The Lords of Games are making sure that Banjo and Kazooie are not only sitting around with nothing to do. They are putting together a new level of challenges to throw at the two characters, with a difficulty level that is adapted to take into account the experience they have acquired in the initial game.

There are seven new additional multiplayer modes and twelve new challenges that are part of the Lord of Games’ Lost Challenges Game Add-On pack. The emphasis will again be on creating the crazy, weird, completely customizable vehicles that were the main attraction point of Banjoo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

The add-on pack will also include seven new blueprints. They have been selected from those who have been sent by fans from the United States, Canada and Japan to Rare as part of a recent fan vehicle design contest. If you plan on getting the seven new machines, you need to go on Xbox Live Arcade and play to completion the Stop 'N' Swop section of Banjo-Tooie. The new additions include a beetle, a carousel and a robot.

Players will be able to get 250 new Achievement points by playing through all the fresh content and Rare is probably thinking of creating more content for Nuts & Bolts if this content pack is successful with players. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts has been well received by reviewers, who have praised the possibilities for design offered by the game.
