The custody trial between Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger is developing into a messy story filled with insults. The angry one is Alec, who has recently labeled Kim a "child snacher".

He has also served Basinger with the ultimate actors' insult: "you're not getting any work!".
Baldwin's lawyer used that as an argument in court, saying that Kim "has dramatically fewer professional and non-professional commitments as compared to (Baldwin)".

The 10 year old daughter Ireland, over whom the custody battle is held, is not offering any support either.
As Basinger gave birth to her when she was 42, there is some resentment from Ireland for her mum having her at such a mature age, according to the actress's previous declarations.

After the divorce has started, Ireland reportedly asked her mother: "What are you going to do with me?". The actress declared that "There were some delicate issues to deal with... But we have come through them and there are no fears on that score."

Basinger has been fighting to keep details under the wraps, but Baldwin insisted the battle go public.
They are due back in court on 31 October.
