Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, the new version of the classic party-based role-playing game from BioWare, is being offered via the Steam digital distribution service with a 50 percent price cut for one day.

This means that players will be able to get the title for 6.99 dollars or Euro.

The official description from Overhaul Games says that players get access to the base game, but also "the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion pack, and never-before-seen content including a new adventure and three new party members: the Calishite monk Rasaad yn Bashir, Neera the wild mage, and Dorn Il-Khan, the evil blackguard."

The team is currently working on a similar re-launch for Baldur's Gate 2 and its Throne of Baal expansion, which is set to arrive during the summer of this year on the PC and on tablets.
