The development team at Overhaul Games is offering Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition players a new game update, labeled 1.0.2011, which is designed to increase stability for the game while also fixing quite a few bugs that the community has been talking about.
The new patch eliminates crashes that happened when changing areas and when the player clicked outside the map and introduces a new movie which is triggered when the player rests in a dungeon or in an inn.
There are also changes to the user interface and to the intro movie for Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition.
The bug fixes, which are
detailed in full on the official forums, address everything from problems with getting Minsc to join the party to the issues that some have reported with lightmaps on some game screens.
