Baidu's new Mobile Browser looks like an interesting entry into the Android browser arena. It's quite snappy and has a few interesting options, obviously much more useful if you're in China and a Baidu user. But one thing that makes it stand out is the fact that it's boasting the best HTML5 support of any browser in the world, at this point.

HTML5Test.com shows it with a score of 467 points, albeit an unofficial one, way above the top browser of the moment, Chrome 21 which scores 437 points. The latest dev version of Chrome fares better, with 442 points, but it's still not close to Baidu's browser.

What's even more impressive, or questionable, is that we're talking about the desktop Chrome. On the mobile front, Chrome is still in the lead, but with only 371 points. An upcoming version of Dolphin scores 450 points, but, again Baidu's Mobile Browser is in the lead. Of course, this may very well be something like Maxthon's "erroneous" scores from a while back.
