Chinese version of Google, Baidu has just confirmed that it will announce its Cloud Phone on December 21. The handset will only sell in China initially and we don’t see Baidu bringing it to other regions as well.

So far, we have been able to learn that Baidu’s Cloud Phone is powered by a customized version of Android operating system.

In addition, the smartphone is said to pack a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, along with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz.

According to CNMO, the Cloud Phone will be available in three color options: white, black and red. No word on the pricing and availability yet, but stay tuned for more updates on this one.

This would be the third Cloud Phone launched by the Internet giant in China, and we expect it would come with at least 100GB of free cloud storage.
