Clonezilla Live 2.2.2-5, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone, and udpcast that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, is now available for download and testing.
Clonezilla Live 2.2.2-5 is now the latest development version for this distribution and it comes with a fresh Linux kernel.
“The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2014/Feb/04),” reads the announcement.
According to the changelog, the Linux kernel has been updated to 3.12.9-1 and Clonezilla has been updated to version 3.9.20-drbl1.
Also, a typo for the destination partition for 2nd confirmation for local partition to local partition has been fixed.
