Now with support for Microsoft Exchange

Backup Exec 11d for Windows Servers Software represents an expansion of the Cupertino-based Company's line of continuous data protection products. Scheduled for general availability come Monday November 6, 2006, the Backup Exec 11d will be made available via Symantec's channel partners participating in the Express and Rewards programs.

Backup Exec 11d is designed to deliver support not only for Microsoft Windows file servers and workstations, but also for Microsoft Exchange. Symantec additionally revealed that the data protection software features Granular Recovery Technology, 128-bit and 256-bit AES encryption capabilities and compatibility with x64-bit Windows servers.
