NaturalMotion, the company behind the euphoria engine, recently announced the release of a new free version of its highly acclaimed arcade football game for iPhone, Backbreaker. Sponsored by KFC and released in collaboration with 4INFO’s Butter Solutions, the mobile media company, the special edition of the game will be available for free only one month. The free update contains more content and additional functionality compared to the previous
Lite version of the game.
iPhone gamers that decide to take advantage promotional offer will have access to 10 specially selected waves and a range of community tools which were previously only available in the paid-for version of Backbreaker
Football. The new social features include Facebook integration, an email bragging system and dedicated leaderboards.

The game also includes a special KFC-themed touchdown celebration, courtesy of the promotional campaign sponsor, which was animated by the developer's team. The celebration after eash successful waves is described as resulting in the player bursting into a signature
chicken dance and strutting around the end zone in triumph, which is not unusual at all. The chicken dance may also be a reference to the sponsor's main products, which are based on chicken meat.
