Back Pain Prevents Victoria Beckham from Holding Baby Harper Seven

Victoria Beckham has a back condition. The star has been diagnosed with a slipped disc and is reportedly in so much pain that she can barely hold her newborn daughter, Harper Seven, to nurse her.

The Daily Mail says that Victoria’s love of high heels and always ignoring the advice of doctors caused the slipped disc. At six months pregnant, she was wearing towering Louboutins at the Royal Wedding (see attached photo).

She did the same during her first three pregnancies as well, while also refusing to take some time off to take proper care of herself. Thus, she put too much pressure on her spine.

“She is in such pain from a slipped disc that she is struggling even to lift her baby daughter Harper Seven,” the Daily Mail writes.

“Friends say that the 37-year-old Spice Girl turned fashion designer slipped the disc while she was expecting, and it was exacerbated by her caesarean operation five weeks ago,” adds the tab.

Right now, the star is “in hiding” at a rented house in Malibu, where she’s believed to be recuperating – and, as per some reports, trying to get back in shape for her first public outing.

A source says for the tab that the pain in her back is so intense she actually needs David’s help to nurse baby Harper, otherwise she couldn’t do it on her own.

“She has been pretty much housebound as she cannot really walk very much right now and she cannot bend to pick anything up,” says the insider.

“Wearing high heels, particularly in the later stages of pregnancy, can increase the risk of a slipped disc as they distort the shape of the spine and place further pressure on the lower back and neck, which are already under strain,” the Mail says of the possible cause of the condition.

Contacted for comment, a rep for the singer turned fashion designer confirms that she has “a back condition,” but he doesn’t go into details. Fan should know that Posh is “resting and receiving treatment.”
