Tourists take pictures of the event and argue that it all happened because of hunger

Although cannibalism rarely occurs in the natural world, three baby tigers kept in captivity at a wildlife park in China recently turned against one of their own, killing it and feeding on it.

Shocked by what they witnessed, tourists who were then visiting the park took pictures of the event and posted them online. They also claim that none of this would have happened if the cubs hadn't been starved by the people who were supposed to take care of them.

On the other hand, zookeepers argue that it is not their fault, and that the three baby tigers that ended up attacking and killing a member of the same species were merely practicing their hunting skills.

Given the fact that tigers are listed as an endangered species, it is tragic news indeed that one of them was lost as a result of an accident that could have easily been avoided.
