14 DAY TRIAL // Hashtag Jameson was born this weekend to probably really social media-aware parents. The baby's birth was announced on Facebook, and little Hashtag became an Internet celebrity.
Since Sunday, a day after she came to this world on November 24, Hashtag became the center of attention on Facebook and Twitter. There is still speculation over the fact that Hashtag isn’t the girl's real name, however her mother seems pretty enthusiastic about the name.
“Hashtag Jameson was born at 10 oclock last nite. She weys 8 pounds and I luv her so much!!!!!!,” she wrote in the now viral post, which was ironically enough uploaded on Facebook, not Twitter.
Some of Mashable's users dub this a viral marketing campaign for Jameson Whiskey, but no relevant announcement has been made by the company.
