If there ever was such a thing as a very good reason for cat lovers to jump on a plane heading towards Germany, the following piece of news might just be it.

Long story short, media reports say that the country's Zoo Berlin is now home to a pair of baby Palawan Bengal cats that were born at this facility earlier this year.

According to their caretakers, the twins are both healthy and active. Judging by the picture above, some might want to add that they are also adorable.

Zoo Borns tells us that one of the baby Palawan Bengal cats is a male, and the other one is a female. Keepers have named them Ilian and Taytay, the same source informs.

They don't know it yet, but, shortly after they become adults, Ilian and Taytay are to be separated, meaning that they will be sent to two different zoos in the Czech Republic.

The end goal is to enter them into a breeding program and have them play their part in preventing their species from falling off the biodiversity map in the near future.

According to wildlife researchers, Palawan Bengal cats live on the island of Palawan in the Philippines. The International Union for Conservation of Nature considers the species to be vulnerable.
