A baby fox now owes its life to a group of firefighters who helped free it from a storm drain it got stuck in.

By the looks of it, the firefighters said that they rescued the fox because their job was to save lives, be they human or not.

The incident occurred in Harford County just a few days ago. It appears that the yelps of the baby fox were first heard by a civilian, who did not delay in asking the firefighters to intervene.

After rescuing the baby fox, the firefighters took it with them to the station. Later on, they contacted Animal Control in order to find a suitable place for it.

Once veterinarians see to it that the baby fox is in good health, the animal will be taken to the Phoenix Wildlife Center, Buzz Feed says.
