I know all of you loved the babelicious Tekken-like fighting game Dead or Alive. Apparently, there will be another installment in the series, as it was confirmed by Team Ninja boss Tomonobu Itagaki via the official Xbox 360 magazine.

No other information is available at this point, but I sincerely
hope that the game's developer will try and port it onto other gaming platforms, meaning that I hope it won't be an Xbox 360 exclusive.

The most recent installment in the DOA series is Dead of Alive 4, which was released back in December of 2005 and received high review scores. Personally, I haven't experienced the game, but screenshots look great. A lot of babes, a lot of fighting, could you ask for more?

Dead or Alive 4 has an impressive soundtrack, featuring tracks from famous rock bands like Aerosmith, Eat the Rich and Amazing. DOA4 introduces some new characters to the Dead or Alive franchise, namely Gen Fu, and La Mariposa ("butterfly" in English) a Lucha Libre female wrester. This fighting game also features an unlockable character from the Halo series, a female Spartan supersoldier.

Reading Dead or Alive reviews and fanpages, I can say that I am eagerly awaiting for DOA 5, as I'm sure you are too.
