//BUILD is an unofficial Windows 8 application that allows users to watch the upcoming developer conference and the Windows 8.1 launch straight in the Metro UI.

Since we’re only a few days away from the public debut of Microsoft’s first major Windows 8 overhaul, the developers behind the project have decided to release a new app update, just to make sure that everyone will be able to watch the big event.

The release notes reveal that //BUILD now comes with fixed bugs and spelling and grammar errors, so the overall experience should be better after you deploy the update.

Of course, it remains completely free and works basically on all Windows 8 versions on the market, including the tablet-oriented Windows RT also powering Microsoft’s own Surface RT.
