The service allows users to talk for four minutes at the price of one

In case you have not heard of it so far, BT Fusion is the first ever WiFi mobile service provided by one of the world's leading communications solution providers, BT. The company's network of hotspots and Wireless Cities is constantly growing, therefore soon enough, customers will be able to use their WiFi capable mobile phones practically anywhere.

In the first phase, the company aims to build 12 Wireless Cities by the end of March next year, therefore most of UK's major cities will be offering widespread WiFi coverage. A series of WiFi handsets, among which the Nokia 6136, Samsung P200 and Motorola A910 are likely to be introduced on BT Fusion in the future and are expected to boost the mobile service's sales.

Steve Andrews, BT chief, Mobility and Convergence, said: "Today, Fusion takes another huge step forward with an exciting new evolution offering even more places to get great value mobile calls. These latest free handsets will allow customers the freedom to just make the calls and surf the web via BT broadband without having to think twice. "

The BT Fusion offer includes free Internet surfing on the WiFI handset, and users of the service will also be able to talk for 4 minutes while only using one of the inclusive any time any network minutes.

And because we have a large estate of BT Openzone hotspots and plans for a first phase of 12 Wireless Cities, customers can easily see the opportunity for savings. Our deal with Phones4u will make Fusion available on the High Street for the first time, as well as online and by calling BT.
