Indian carrier BSNL and Champion have just announced a new partnership to bring customers an interesting, to say the least, device, the BSNL Champion DM6513.

Although the name of the smartphone certainly doesn't say anything about its specs, know that BSNL Champion DM6513 boasts a huge 6.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display.

It would have been interesting to know the screen's resolution, but for the time being both BSNL and Champion are mum on the quality of the display, which is also the phablet's main selling point.

BSNL Champion DM6513 has been confirmed to arrive with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

Spec-wise, little is known about the phablet. The Indian carrier mentioned BSNL Champion DM6513 would pack a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and microSD card slot for memory expansion.

We also know BSNL Champion DM6513 will be powered by a 3500 mAh battery, which should offer around 4 hours of talk time, but other than that nothing else has been disclosed yet.

According to fonearena, BSNL Champion DM6513 phablet will soon be available on the Indian market in white color option for only Rs 6,999 off contract, which is about $115 or €80.
