BPlay, a developer and publisher of mobile entertainment, announced a deal with mobile games publisher Glu Mobile to bring several of Glu's gaming titles to BlackBerry handsets. Under the agreement, BPlay will distribute some of Glu Mobile's most popular games to BlackBerry devices, including Monopoly, Transformers, Deer Hunter 2 Mobile, Centipede, Hoyle 4-in-1 Rummy Pro and Diner Dash. Some titles have already begun launching on BlackBerry, with more to roll out in the coming months.

"We're pleased to work with BPlay to offer Glu games to BlackBerry users worldwide," said Jill Braff, General Manager of the Americas, Glu. "It is our goal to be the leading developer and publisher of mobile games worldwide, and our partnership with BPlay supports our broad deployment strategy and adds to our global distribution more than a thousand handsets worldwide."

The mobile games will be distributed on BPlay's portal, that offers mobile content, including games, music, graphics, themes and lifestyle applications, developed specifically for BlackBerry devices. BPlay offers a Web store front, as well as an on-deck icon for downloading content over the air directly to mobile devices. Via a direct partnership with Research in Motion established in 2003, all the games available from BPlay are tested by RIM to ensure an excellent user experience. BPlay is a division of Magmic Games, the world's largest developer and publisher of games for BlackBerry market.

"We are proud to be able to distribute Glu's award-winning catalog of games to carriers and consumers in more than 30 countries," said BPlay's vice president, Nicholas Reichenbach. "This partnership enables us to continue to offer consumers world class entertainment on their BlackBerry devices."
