The affordable BLU Vivo 4.3 was launched back in August 2012 with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box.

Less than a year later, BLU manufacturer decides to push an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for its dual-SIM smartphone.

Aside from that, a new range of colors is now available for purchase to those who wish to buy a budget-friendly Android phone: Energy Neon Yellow, Pearl White, and Glimmer Pink.

BLU Vivo 4.3 is currently available in the United States at various third-party retailers, including Amazon. Customers can purchase it for only $230/ €175 outright.

For those unfamiliar with the BLU Vivo 4.3, this is the first dual-SIM smartphone to feature a Super AMOLED Plus display.

However, dual-SIM phones are not that popular in the United States, which is one of the reasons BLU has priced its devices so aggressively.

Those who already own the Vivo 4.3 should know that BLU also decided to replace the previous proprietary launcher with the stock Android software. According to BLU, this decision will affect all its future products and firmware updates.

BLU claims the Jelly Bean update will improve the overall user experience and it will enhance battery life. Furthermore, the interface will be improved for those who prefer a cleaner, more beautiful look.

Last but not least, Vivo 4.3 owners of the smartphone will have to call BLU Customer Service for more information on how to update their devices.

“We are committed to providing our customers stunning fashionable design and flagship performance. With these exciting and stylish new colors, our customers can stand out from the ordinary devices available in the market today, and they can also be sure that we are keeping our promise by regularly providing latest software updates on all our Android devices,” said Samuel Ohev-Zion, CEO of BLU Products.
