One of the smartphones that US-based maker BLU might make official in the not-too-distant future is the BLU Life Pure XL, which has just emerged online in a leaked press photo.

The image is available online courtesy of infamous tipster @evleaks, but no details on what users should expect from the handset have been provided as of now.

BLU already has a series of affordable devices on the market, including a BLU Life Pure, and we can expect for the new device to be announced as the successor of that handset.

This also means that the new mobile phone might sport a series of improved specs and capabilities when compared to the already available handset. A newer version of the Android OS might also be loaded on the phone (the original was launched with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean).

The original BLU Life Pure features a 5-inch screen, a 1.5GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory. Moreover, it packs a 13-megapixel camera on the back, a 5MP front camera for video calling, and HSDPA, 42.2Mbps; HSUPA, 11Mbps connectivity capabilities.

With the BLU Life Pure priced at around $350, it remains to be seen how much the new device will cost. Stay tuned for more on the matter.
