BLU Products is not one of the well-known handset makers with tradition in the smartphone market. However, it's one of the fastest growing mobile phone manufacturers in the world.

Hopefully, it will be successful as well. Anyway, the company announced the upcoming availability of the affordable VIVO 4.3 Android smartphone.

According to BLU Products, this is world's first dual-SIM smartphone to feature a Super AMOLED Plus display and dual-core processor.

BLU Products plans to launch the VIVO 4.3 sometime in September for a suggested retail price of $250 USD (€200).

The smartphone will be initially released in the United States through major retailers across the country, and will soon follow through Latin America, as well as parts of Asia.

Although the smartphone will most likely be a hit in emerging markets due to its dual-SIM capability, it will be interesting to see how well the company will capitalize the not so high demand of dual-SIM smartphones in the United States.

VIVO 4.3 comes with three on-screen touch sensitive keys and runs Google's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

As expected, the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek MT6577 dual-core 1GHz Cortex-A9 processor and packs 1GB of RAM.

In addition, the VIVO 4.3 boasts a stunning 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen display, as well as an impressive 8-megapixel rear camera that features full HD (1080p) video recording.

Last but not least, the phone offers 3G/HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, along with true dual-SIM capability allowing both SIMs to be active and receive calls at the same time.

We are extremely excited as we continue to pioneer the growing demand of Dual SIM handsets in emerging markets by offering the most outstanding Dual SIM smartphone available anywhere in the world today. Additionally, this is the first in a series of exciting new Android devices we will be announcing, as we are actively and aggressively moving towards providing high performance, affordable smartphones to the ever growing unlocked no-contract segment in the United States,” said Samuel-Ohev-Zion, CEO of BLU Products.
