It will be hard to leave this storage device in any way defective

Suddenly losing power while the PC was operational has been, over the decades, the cause of many corrupted files and lost hours of work. This is why the “Save” function is so popular.

Windows has been getting better at recovering lost data, especially in “Word” programs, but that's not a perfect solution.

In the end, hardware can help most here, which is why BIWIN's latest product may gather quite a few followers.

Essentially, it is a solid-state drive with a Tantalum capacitor that will guard the firmware of the drive when voltages drop below 4V.

There is even a self-healing function that allows the capacitor to isolate and fix the oxidation film defect caused by long-term usage.

Oddly enough, BIWIN included no information about the SSD capacity and performance in the official press release.
