After the first one-brand BIOS day yesterday, here we go back to the usual listings. Today's BIOS pick brings a lot of Asrock software, but Asus, HP and Lenovo are present, as well.

The "star" of the day is a new board from Asus, the P8Z77-V. This Z77 board comes with an ATX form factor but it can be housed in smaller cases thanks to its compact design. Now, compact design does not mean lack of features; au contraire, the Asus P8Z77-V is loaded with a heap of modern technology designed to deliver smooth and reliable performance.

Digital-controlled power is the key element for stable performance and easy fine-tuning for individual components. The GPU, iGPU, and DRAM can be tweaked individually and even more, the power they get is as close as possible to what's really needed in there in order to make everything work well.

You can use the Asus P8Z77-V with Intel Core 2nd and 3rd CPU generations and up to 32 GB DDR3 memory, tweakable according to desire. Full HD HDMI outputs, 6Gb/s SATA3 connectors and blazing-fast USB 3.0 ports are standard, like the 8-channel HD audio and overclocking protection technologies are. Just add Asus' own software for tweaking, overclocking and monitoring and there you have it, a nice board fit for gaming, multimedia or productivity, alike.

And here's the BIOS list: Asus P8Z77-V BIOS 0906 Asrock H61M Bios 1.70 Asrock H61M/U3S3 Bios 1.70 Asrock Fatal1ty 990FX Professional Bios 1.60 Asrock 970DE3/U3S3 Bios 1.10 Asrock 890FX Deluxe5 Bios 1.90 HP G7061TU Notebook BIOS F.35 for Vista HP G7091TU Notebook BIOS F.35 for Vista Lenovo ThinkCentre A58 BIOS

As both hardware and software evolve, old BIOSes might become unstable or simply prevent you from using your computer to its full potential.

Therefore, it is highly recommended to always use the most recent BIOS version available. Do not forget to check with our site as often as possible in order to stay updated on the latest BIOS files.
