If you are one of those computer users who own a PC that is powered by a graphics card with an AGP bus interface, then you should probably check out the latest offer from BFG Technologies, one of NVIDIA's largest board partners.

The graphics card maker has recently introduced a promotional program, according to which qualified BFG customers can become eligible for a free-of-charge upgrade to one of the latest PCI-Express graphics card on the market, powered by an NVIDIA graphics processor. Basically, if a user has a certain BFG, AGP-based graphics card, they can become eligible to receive a PCI Express equivalent of their older graphics card at no expense whatsoever.

According to the promotional program, BFG encourages its users to trade in their old, but still working, AGP graphics card for a more recent equivalent, while also offering them one of the latest graphics processors on the market. Obviously, there are some conditions that must be fulfilled in order to take advantage of this rather impressive offer.

First of all, you have to be the owner of an AGP graphics card designed by BFG, which will give you the chance to upgrade to a PCI Express video card designed by the same graphics card maker. Secondly, the graphics card has to be in good, working state, and then it has to be part of the list of AGP-based graphics cards eligible to participate in the promotional campaign. The listed models include the GeForce 7600 GS OC 512MB, GeForce 7800 GS OC 256MB, GeForce 6800 OC 128MB, GeForce 6800 GS OC 256MB, GeForce 6800 GT OC 256MB, GeForce 6800 Ultra OC 256MB, all of which boast an AGP interface.

All but the GeForce 7600 GS OC 512MB model can be upgraded to the company's GeForce 9600 GT OC 512MB PCIe graphics card. The GeForce 7600 GS OC 512MB can be upgraded, free of charge, to a BFG GeForce 9500 GT OC, with 1GB of graphics memory. However, for a $50 fee, GeForce 7600 GS users can upgrade to the GeForce 9600 GT, while all the other cards can be upgraded to the BFG GeForce 9800 GT OC for better performance.
