14 DAY TRIAL // Nicki Minaj showed audiences why she's the number 1 best-selling female rapper of the moment at last night's BET Awards 2012. Below is her performance.
The eccentric star took to the stage in one of her trademark wacky outfits (which included a removable skirt, of course, for a plus of drama) and performed her hit song “Beez in the Trap.”
She also brought 2 Chainz on to perform his bit, as the A-listers in the audience nodded to the beat.
At several points in her performance, the cameras zoomed in on Beyonce and Jay-Z, as well as other known names in the music industry, as they were clearly enjoying the lively performance.
At the end of the night, Nicki also took home the award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, so it isn't just recognition from her peers that she won last night.
