14 DAY TRIAL // BlackBerry will soon add new features to BBM for BlackBerry 10, but first the Canadian company included them in the beta version.
As long as you have a valid BlackBerry Beta Zone account, you will be able to download and install the latest version of BBM beta for BlackBerry 10. But let's see what new features BlackBerry included in their latest BBM beta build.
So, the first thing introduced by BlackBerry is Status Publisher on Feeds Tab. The new features allows BBM users to read their friends' updates and share their own if they want to.
With the latest version of BBM beta for BlackBerry 10, users will be able to quickly update their status from the Feeds tab directly.
Moving on to the next new feature included in BBM beta, BlackBerry confirmed that it added Edit Messages with the Timed Message and Message Retract Subscription.
This means that users will now be able to retract, edit, and send a new message to replace a message that is accidentally sent. According to BlackBerry, the original message will be immediately retracted, and pasted into the input field for quick editing and sending.
Some known issues still remaining
However, some known issues still remain to be fixed in future versions. One of these issues prevents contacts from showing exclusive badge on the contacts tab.
Also, keep in mind that sent custom PIN invites show up as regular pin, and the feeds publisher doesn't inform the user when the field is full.
As mentioned earlier, as long as you have a BlackBerry Beta Zone account, you will now be able to download the latest version of BBM beta for BlackBerry 10.
