BlackBerry Messenger, the highly popular service from the Canadian mobile phone maker, is expected to make an official appearance on Android and iOS devices in the not too distant future, yet an official release date for it is not available as of now.

However, it seems that the availability date is nearing fast, and that BlackBerry actually leaked the user guide for BBM versions for Google’s and Apple’s platforms, as N4BB reports (though said links are no longer working).

As expected, BBM for Android and iOS will provide users with the possibility to send text messages, photos, and voice messages to their contacts, while also being able to join BBM Groups and change their profile picture.

When announcing plans to bring BBM to Android and iOS, BlackBerry said that it would become available before the end of the summer, which means that it will be out by late September.
