BBC iPlayer 1.3.2 is now out for iPhone and iPad owners with improved video performance, according to Media Applications Technologies Limited.

The developer said today that they listened to everyone’s demands and made it a priority to improve visuals, along with added support for the third-generation Apple iPad (Retina graphics).

The updated app also boasts better accessibility, “including more Voice Over controls to make it even easier to enjoy BBC iPlayer's fantastic content,” as well as bug fixes for a smoother overall performance. Media Applications Technologies Limited encourages users of BBC iPlayer to provide feedback @BBCiPlayer.

BBC iPlayer is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 4.3 or later. The app is universal, meaning you download once and it installs on both your iPhone and your iPad. Note that the app only works in the UK.
