BBC Launches New iOS App: Antiques Roadshow Play-along

The BBC has released the Antiques Roadshow Play-along valuation game for iPhone and iPad. A new companion app, “Antiques Roadshow Play-along” tests your valuation skills against the experts.

Users must open the free app while watching Antiques Roadshow and press “Play along with the programme.” The app will then take a little while to sync. When the first item appears in the program, simply choose one of the four potential values.

That’s before the expert gives their valuation and the clock runs out. At the end of the episode, the BBC will give you your total score, your valuation accuracy, and your Roadshow ranking.

Requirements include iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, as well as iOS 5.1. The app is optimized to run on the iPhone 5 natively.
