BAFTA (The British Academy of Film and Television Arts), in association with headline sponsor PC World, is inviting the public, as in you, to vote for the favorite game in the PC World Gamers' Award at this year's British Academy Video Games Awards. The event takes place on Tuesday 23 October at Battersea Evolution in Battersea Park, London and if you guess the winner, there's a whole list of prizes waiting to be won, including next-gen consoles, tickets to a show, games and more.

Here's where you can enter to vote, just to clear one aspect out of the way. As for the list of video game finalists, here it is below:

- DR KAWASHIMA'S BRAIN TRAINING (DS) (Nintendo/Nintendo) - FIFA 07 (PS2) (EA Canada/Electronic Arts) - FOOTBALL MANAGER 2007 (PC) (Sports Interactive/SEGA) - GEARS OF WAR (Xbox 360) (Epic Games/Microsoft) - GRAND THEFT AUTO: VICE CITY STORIES (PSP) (Rockstar Leeds/Take Two) - RESISTANCE: FALL OF MAN (PS3) (Insomniac/Sony Computer Entertainment Europe) - WII PLAY (Wii) (Nintendo/Nintendo)

"The great thing about the PC World Gamers' Award shortlist is that it reflects the real diversity of games being played by the public, and I am sure everyone will look forward to tuning in to watch the ceremony on Nov 4 at 11pm on E4 to see which one is victorious," said Hilary Bevan Jones, Chairman of the Academy.

You probably want to know how you can get your hands on one of those prizes. Well, according to the Terms and Conditions for the PC World Gamers Award Prize draw, only one winner will be selected randomly out of those who guessed the game coming out 1st. Only UK residents can vote and win one of the prizes that include: 4 pairs of tickets to the Awards show, a day at EA's development studios, a PS3, an Xbox 360, a DS Lite, the top 10 chart games and 3 Pyramat wireless gaming chairs.

Check out BAFTA's official website right here for more information on the event and for the full list of nominations, and keep in mind that the Awards will be broadcast on both E4 on Nov 4 and Channel 4's T4 the following weekend.
