BAFTA Video Game Nominations Announced, Include Blacks Ops, Mass Effect 2

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has announced its nominations for the Video Games Awards, with the big potential winners being Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Mass Effect 2, three very different titles that delivering quality experiences during 2010.

For the first team the awards will also honor the best Social Network Game, with Bejeweled Blitz and FIFA Superstars getting nominations, and a GAME Award, which is voted on by the public, is also included.

The awards will be given out in a ceremony that will take place in London on March 16 and those interested can see a live stream on the official site.
