Looking to join the ever-growing numbers of tableters and eReader owners? You might want to consider the Barnes & Noble’s NOOK family.

Even if the company has recently struggled with the sales of these products, it is trying to win back customers’ attention by offering a special gift to whomever is willing to jump on the NOOK bandwagon.

So new customers buying a NOOK tablet or eReader will be awarded $5 / €4 credit to spend on digital books, apps, movies, TV shows, newspapers and magazines from the NOOK Store.

Barnes & Nobles is currently offering popular ebook titles with 50% off for a limited time, so new tablet/eReader owners will have what to choose from.

New NOOK owners are also allowed to subscribe to two popular magazines at the price of one and get the 12 last issues of the publications for free.

The Barnes & Noble line includes the NOOK HD, NOOK HD+, NOOK GlowLight and NOOK Simple Touch, so if you think one of these devices might be for you, hurry up until the Holiday deals expire.
