Nobody seems to know what are the other 15GB used for

Barnes & Noble seems to be up to its old tricks yet again as the outfit has apparently limited the available user space on the Nook Tablet to just 1GB.

The decision is rather odd considering that one of the main features B&N advertised for its Nook Tablet was the 16GB of storage provided which is double what its closest competitor, the Amazon Kindle Fire, can deliver.

However, with only 1GB of spare room available for its users according to Liliputing, B&N's creation is severely lacking in this department, and this is really one issue that is sure to show its teeth even after a few days of use.

The only good think that I can think of after hearing this is the the Nook Tablet actually comes with an SD card slot, but leaving 15GB of storage space just for the OS, the few apps and the eBooks bought seems just wrong to me.

After all, what else could B&N actually put in there to need all that storage capacity?
