Barnes&Noble's Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight managed to stay up for order at $139 for a while, but that time is over, and it's all Amazon's fault.

Not that we are in any way upset over it. If anything, we are glad to see the Kindle Paperwhite out and about at last, as it gave the Nook something to compete against.

B&N likely doesn't feel quite the same way, since it had to lower the price of the GlowLight device to $119 in order to stay competitive, hence the $20 cut.

$119 is the same as 92 Euro and 73 British pounds, but we all know that exchange rates never reflect reality.

B&N UK asks for 109 British Pounds, and the Nook isn't available in the rest of Europe.
