The 80-year-old B. B. King will begin an international "Farewell Tour" in March, as his publicist Jerry Digney announced in a press conference two days ago. This will be part of a domestic tour that starts February 16 in Chicago.

The singer has still enough strength to appear in concerts, so after this tour, the American audience will continue to enjoy the octogenarian's shows, as he doesn't want to give up singing. In the last 60 years, B. B. King had at least one tour every year and now wishes to continue singing despite his age. "I hardly remember I'm 80 unless I have to run up a hill or stairs," the singer and guitarist said. "As long as people buy my records and come to my concerts, I don't see anything else I'd like to do."

B.B. King turned 80 this September and released an album on the occasion, called "B. B. king and Friends - 80" with the participation of various artists, as Elton John, Eric Clapton and Sheryl Crow.

He also has another big project to become reality by the end of this year: the opening of a 10 million dollars B. B. King museum in Mississippi, the place of birth of the singer.
