Awesomenauts Gets Free Steam Weekend, 50% Price Cut

Developer Ronimo Games and Valve, the creators of the Steam digital distribution service, launch a free weekend for Awesomenauts and allow all those who are interested in it to get it with a 50 percent price cut until Monday.

The official Awesomenauts game page allows all interested players to begin the download process for the free weekend.

The game is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena played in a 2D world and the development team still has plans to introduce more characters and updates.

Players can control 8 characters on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 from Sony, but the game plays better on the PC, where they also access extra three protagonists.

The game was launched in May and the development team has been praised for the style and the mechanics of the game.
