We have seen numerous leaks of the future iPhone 6 and even the larger iPhone 6L, but there's no clear information on whether Apple will choose to have a device with a completely colored back or have some bands on the top and bottom parts.
Martin Hajek, one of the best 3D rendering artists in the community has taken this charge upon himself to create concept of all these ideas.
First he drew a picture of the top part of the golden iPhone 6. The camera and the dual-tone LED flash are surrounded by a thin golden metal circle. Apple may use a plastic part on top and the bottom of the phone to make it radio-transparent for the cellular antenna and the WiFi one. They have done it in the past with the original iPhone, the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s. The rest of the models either had glass or plastic rear shells.
With an iPhone 6 made out of aluminum, cell reception is critical and Apple still has to make this kind of compromises to let the antenna work properly.
The Cupertino tech giant is expected to announce the design of the new 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and a larger 5.5 iPhone 6L on September 9. At least one device will show up in stores a week later, with the second one following shortly after.
