The addictive Dots game where you connect strings of dots to beat increasingly difficult levels is now available on the iPad as a native app.

In addition to supporting bigger screens now, Dots 1.7 delivers a multiplayer mode where you pass your iOS device between friends to compete on the same board, as well as high-contrast color options for those of you who are having trouble distinguishing colors.

Shrinkers are now 5 / 500 dots (to balance gameplay), and several fixes have been included to address repeating colors, and the inability to disconnect from social networks.

Developer Betaworks One is already working on the next version which promises to deliver a “2x iPad Mode” (whatever that means), and a nifty timeless mode. Get downloading!
