Sustainable fashion is considered a powerful trend nowadays, but this concept was unveiled at least three decades ago.

At least this is when the Italian designer Ivano Vitali started making a name for himself, by launching eco-friendly products on the market, created using eggshells, plastic waste and no-longer-needed aluminum foil.

Recently, he has decided to give a new meaning to crocheted products, while relying on string obtained from recycled newsprint.

Surprisingly, his products are entirely earth-friendly, since their manufacturing process does not involve the usage of toxic chemicals, dyes and other elements exposing potential buyers to health risks. The odd masterpieces depend only on recycled newspapers and lots of creativity.

Even if there's no telling what water could do to the awesome-looking bathing suits and coats, his intriguing collection reveals a genuine passion for sustainable design, combined with environmental awareness and pure fashion sense.
