LG-KU250 phone model has recently been awarded the winning title "3G for all programme" by the GSM Association. Now, this handset is available for everyone to enjoy as LG's latest release.

The incredibly small shapes of this mobile phone make it look appealing and highly comfortable to handle. LG-KU250 comes with the sizes of 110.9 x 46.7 x 15.6 mm and weighs only 73 grams. That makes it more compact than many other similar devices.

Its design will most probably fail in making it stand out, although LG most probably did not have this in mind when it built this handset. It looks classic and simple, placing functionality above image. The drawback of this choice coming from LG is that the phone looks a bit dull, despite its high technological performances.

LG-KU250 comes equipped with a small 1.7 inch display screen which seems tiny when compared to other mobile phones of the latest generation. Even more, it comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera which provides images of a quality below the average standard these days. What this mobile phone has to also offer is an integrated MP3 player and 10MB of internal memory, together with a microSD card slot.

Not very impressive features till now. Still, the GSM Association considered LG-KU250 worthy of their appreciation for one thing only. This mobile phone is capable of supporting a wide range of 3G services including voice calls, video clips, high-speed Internet access and music downloads. Moreover, they are confident that this handset will leave a lasting impact on the industry due to its performances.

"A highly-capable device that is as attractive and cost-effective as the leading 2G multimedia handsets, the LG-KU250 has clear mass-market appeal and will help fuel interest in third-generation services across the world", said Craig Ehrlich, chairman of the GSMA.

The LG-KU250 phone model will be available from now on in Europe, Asia, Middle Asia and Africa starting this month. The handset can now be purchased at wholesales pricing, which is about 30% less than normal and contains a chipset supplied by Qualcomm.
