ASRock has just launched a new BIOS for the FM2A85X Extreme6 motherboard. This release fixes the issue when USB cannot wake up from S5 in UEFI OS. It also improves Samsung 1600 4G memory module compatibility.
The update is available in three versions: Windows, DOS and Instant Flash. The last of them is recommended by ASRock for its ease of use with the UEFI stock BIOS provided with the motherboard.
The FM2A85X Extreme6 features several performance boosters among which is X-Boost, a very easy-to-use, smart overclocking tool that can improve overall performance by up to 15.77%. It requires only the press of the “X” key when the PC is turned on.
Other helpful tools IS the XFast 555 technology which boosts up to five times the performance of your RAM, LAN and USB.
Premium gold caps are embedded in the motherboard offering long life and stable performance while the dehumidifier will keep everything dry.
