14 DAY TRIAL // Avril Lavigne married Nickleback singer Chad Kroeger after what the media dubbed a “whirlwind romance” and it seems that married life is doing wonders for her, musically. Above is the official video for the couple’s first duet.
The song is called “Let Me Go,” and Avril picked it to be her leading single off the album “Avril Lavigne,” which will be out on November 5.
Since it’s a duet with Chad (a ballad nonetheless), he is also featured in the video and, of course, they play soul mates.
“So excited to share my #LetMeGoVideo, featuring my husband Chad Kroeger, with everyone!!!” Avril tweeted before the release of the clip.
Also on Twitter, Avril linked to the second clip in this blog post, which is a behind-the-scenes look at the music video, together with a brief interview with both her and Chad. They’re actually very cute together, aren’t they?
