14 DAY TRIAL // Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger literally managed to surprise the entire world with their engagement announcement. The Daily Mail believes to have found an explanation for the rush to get married: she’s pregnant.
The two first met early this year, when they got together to work on new music, and presumably started dating immediately.
Right now, they’re planning a wedding, with Chad himself admitting in an interview that he proposed even before his own mother got to meet her future daughter-in-law.
An unexpected pregnancy might explain this rush, the Mail speculates. The other day in Paris, Avril was photographed looking rounder in the tummy.

“She dodged pregnancy questions at her Abbey Dawn fashion show in New York three days ago. But Avril Lavigne was sporting what appeared to be a baby bump as she saw the sights of Paris today,” the British tab writes.
“The singer was enjoying the romantic French city with her new fiancé Chad Kroeger after they announced three weeks ago that they are set to wed,” adds the same media outlet.
“She covered up in a black skeleton printed hoodie, but 27-year-old Avril’s belly certainly seemed to be more rounded. She paired the cosy jumper with a black maxi skirt as she walked the streets of Paris hand in hand with her Nickelback frontman beau,” the Mail goes on to note.
Indeed, in the photos made available on the site, the usually very slim and toned Avril does seem to have a more rounded belly but, then again, it could be just an optical illusion created by the large pockets on her hoodie and perhaps a larger meal as well.
Avril and Chad are yet to announce a wedding date, or even to hint at one.
Not few were those who said that, because they’re in Paris, they must be shopping for a wedding dress. Hence, the wedding ceremony is imminent.
Obviously, all of this is just speculation until they confirm it – or say differently.
